Bowser is the supreme leader of the Koopa Clan, and Mario’s archenemy. On countless occasions, he has attempted to both kidnap Princess Peach and conquer the Mushroom World—and later the Mushroom Universe—only to have his plans foiled in the end, usually by Mario. All the same, he is feared by many for his ruthless and menacing nature; he also has a knack for survival, in that he seems to always return whenever presumed dead, making his battle with Mario an eternal one.
